Uzi Ramirez is an iconic musician in the Israeli indie scene. A devil guitar picker, Uzi has played with leading bands such as Boom Pam, Avishai Cohen & Big Vicious, Kutiman and many more, touring extensively throughout Europe, U.S.A, Canada, Mexico and Africa in clubs and festivals.
In 2010, he released his first solo album, "Lick My Heart", taking the listener to his greatest love, Americana. The album got great reviews and was chosen "album of the year" by Kol Hakampus student radio station.
His anticipated second album "Cheese In My Pocket" broke loose in 2014 with 12 new rocking tunes. The self produced album has got some of Israel's finest musicians contributing their massive talents along with a full orchestra to boot. The album is a tight knit mixture of Pop, Blues, Rock, Folk and sprinkles of Classical Music on top.
In 2016 Uzi released an EP titled "Ice Skates" and 2022 saw the release of his third album “Neon Dust”.
Uzi gathered a rocking band (with 5 sets of bongos!) giving the tunes a fresh take dipped in fuzz and percussion and digging into long psychedelic-funk jams.
